Common Air Surevlliance Radar (CARSR) Course, October 2021 - May 2022

An initiative to convert instructor-led training to web-based training for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This project required leading a team of instructional designers to create 45 storyboards, scripts, and assessment plans in Articulate Storyline 360. 

Radar Theory Concepts Course, October 2020 - October 2021

Sailor 2025, July 2019 - October 2020

An initiative to modernize training for the United States Navy. The Sailor 2025 Project required conducting several analyses. 

Unmanned Aerial Systems On-boarding, May 2019 - May 2020

Designed to reduce new member turnover in an Unmanned Aerial Systems team at a small liberal arts college in Virginia. A capstone project to partially fulfill the requirements for the Master of Education Degree in Learning Design and Technology from The University of Southern California. 

Diversity and Access in A Large International Organization, January - May 2019

As a student at The University of Southern California, I had the opportunity to analyze the diversity practices of a large international organization. I used this analysis to provide recommendations to foster more diversity and inclusion in the workplace. 

Learning Design Proposal: Meditation, January - May 2019

While studying learning design and technology at The University of Southern California's Rossier School for Education, Erika created a proposal to teach meditation to early childhood and young adult learners. 

Mobile Training Application Development, July 2018 - June 2019

As an undergraduate, I interned with the United States Department of Defense, Department of the Army: TCM Mobile. My roles varied and included being on the Digital Rucksack team, researching future technology, and developing a prototype for a mobile application used by Fort Drum.

Altering the Stigma: The Treatment Aversion Model, January - May 2018

I led an interdisciplinary three-member team in Virginia which designed a Treatment Aversion Model (TAM) focused on the factors that prevent individuals from seeking treatment for mental illness. TAM combined motivational theory, social psychology, and behaviorism to discover the source of this stigma. The model was further applied to  a prototype of a dynamic training solution referred to as treatment enhancement. The research was Presented at the 18th annual PAIDEIA Conference at Christopher Newport University.
